Before moving to Tenerife, we had not even thought about windows replacement, nor did we know much about the subject. However, we were forced to learn.
When we bought our house in Tenerife, it still had the original windows from when it was built 50 years ago. The frames had started to rot and although we tried to repair with wood filler we soon realised it was a battle we would not win. Reluctantly, we started our investigation for replacement windows.

The next phase was to visit the showrooms, talk to the sales people and get a feel for how the process worked. After our visits, we invited each company to give us quotations. On receiving the quotes, we were shocked at the difference in prices. When we asked for quotes, we specifically asked for the best price, we said we did not want to get into haggling. Within a week, we received calls from two of the companies offering to reduce their pricing because “they were no longer busy and had room to negotiate.” Call us stubborn, but this type of selling tactic is not appreciated, besides, the Meridian Windows Tenerife quote was still the lowest. The new Meridian windows are fastened, flashed, and sealed and the whole job went without a hitch.
All our concerns were for nothing, the result was every bit as good as we hoped. In the past, we could feel drafts but it is remarkable how our home is now more comfortable than it has ever been.
